On Thursday, Stella & Chewy’s was informed by the Maryland Department of Agriculture that it issued a stop sale order on one of their products due to the detection of Listeria monocytogenes in the product. Since learning of this news, Stella & Chewy’s has issued a voluntary recall of additional product from the same lot # (111-15) as the detected product as a precaution. Additional products that may have come into contact with the recalled lot have also been issued a voluntary recall notice. Update Monday, July 6th – Stella & Chewy’s has added a Lot # checker that allows customers to see food safety laboratory results on each product lot that was tested as part of a quality assurance process. This feature can be found on the top right corner of each Stella & Chewy’s webpage.
