About RTVC

We are both a traditional and complementary veterinary practice. We believe that animals can benefit from a comprehensive and integrative approach to their medical care. By working with veterinarians and other specialists, we strive to improve and extend the quality of life for your pet.

At the Royal Treatment Veterinary Center, animals are individually assessed for any health, nutrition, mobility or behavioral issues. We may recommend any combination of alternative therapies and/or possible return to Western medical veterinarians for further treatment. When an animal comes under our care, our comprehensive approach can decrease pain, increase mobility, invigorate health, and improve energy. Owners can regularly consult with us about the care of any age pet with any condition.

Therapeutic modalities include, but are not limited to: underwater treadmill, acupuncture, electroacupuncture, low level laser light therapy, chiropractic, massage, rehab exercises, diet or supplement changes, herbal and homeopathic medicine, behavior training, veterinary rehabilitation, chronic holistic care for healthy animals and for animals with systemic diseases, including cancers, immune diseases, degenerative disease, allergies, organ failure, and geriatric conditions.  We rely on our professional expertise, extensive experience, empathetic and enthusiastic practitioners to define the best treatment for the patient and the owner to follow.

Veterinarians and veterinary specialists recommend us because we can provide the facility for extensive rehabilitation and insights into alternative medicine that can be difficult to keep up with.  Owners come to us for the same reason.  In our practice they find professionals who will carefully assess the needs of their pet in the most comprehensive way. We can help owners weed through the overwhelming amount of information available about healthcare options.  We are comfortable discussing and recommending traditional medical therapies to augment our treatment alternative protocols as needed.

In all of this, we pride ourselves on not losing sight of our common sense and practicality. We try to find the balance between what can be done and what really should be done – depending on the individual needs of the animal and the owner.

RTVC Concierge Practice Membership

Memberships are required for any service to be provided by The Royal Treatment Veterinary Center (RTVC).

The Royal Treatment Veterinarians and staff will provide comprehensive and advanced integrative veterinary health services and support for our client members and their pets. For new patients, veterinarians are legally required to establish a valid veterinarian-client-patient relationship (VCPR), which must include a physical exam. Even for current clients, a doctor must see your pet in person to make a diagnosis.

RTVC Extended Wellness Concierge and Standard Wellness Concierge Membership periods are one year from the date of payment.

Fees for Extended Wellness Concierge memberships are to be paid annually or monthly and in advance of the service year or on the first day of each month for the term of one year. As used in this Agreement, the term “Service Year” refers to the 1-year period beginning on the date of payment as well as every 1-year period after that, or first day of each month.

Sustainability Initiatives

Caring for animals also means caring for our habitat: Planet Earth.

RTVC’s sustainability initiative includes the use of the following items:

  • Recycled packaging for client medications and take home items
  • Recycled paper and printer cartridges
  • Hemp t-shirts for our employees from Oregon Company, printed locally with eco-friendly inks
  • Eco-friendly cleaning products (and we employ a green cleaning service)
  • Long-lasting, energy-saving light bulbs
  • Recycled dishware, silverware and cups for our staff and guests
  • In-line reverse osmosis water filtration system for drinking water
  • Post-consumer recycled medical products for in-clinic use

We make every effort to buy locally, and know the companies with whom we do business. We recommend other businesses who support strong sustainability initiatives, and talk about these issues with our clients in purchasing their pet supplies.  When we shut down at the end of the day, we turn off and unplug.

Additionally, our underwater treadmill tank water is filtered and recycled (and clean as a whistle for your pet!).
